Johnny Depp's LA Mansion Hit by Alleged Stalker

Police rushed to a Los Angeles mansion owned by Johnny Depp on Tuesday after it was allegedly visited by a female stalker. The Los Angeles Police Department received a call around 4 p.m. reporting a person trespassing on the 62-year-old actor's property, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Incident Details

The caller stated the woman was sitting by the estate's front gate, located at the bottom of a hill leading up to the mansion. Sources added this was not the woman's first visit to Depp's home, as she had allegedly made multiple appearances over the weekend. According to Radar Online, the anonymous woman had become a 'frequent nuisance' in recent days, causing concern among Depp's neighbors.

It remains unclear what the alleged stalker intended, but sources said the caller reported that she attempted to leave some form of message for the Pirates of the Caribbean star. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the alleged trespasser was also seen filming and acting suspiciously around Depp's estate.

Police Response

After receiving the call, police reportedly rushed to the mansion, but the woman had left the area by the time they arrived, and no arrests were made. Depp once shared the massive West Hollywood mansion with his former partner, French actress Vanessa Paradis. The exes dated from 1998 to 2012 and share two children: actress and model Lily-Rose Depp, 26, and Jack Depp, 24, who has largely avoided the spotlight.

Previous Incidents

This is not the first scare Depp has faced due to trespassers. In March 2021, a man was arrested and charged with felony vandalism after breaking into Depp's Hollywood Hills home. TMZ reported that a neighbor spotted the man in their backyard before he scaled a gate to enter Depp's property. Once inside, he reportedly made himself a drink and took a shower in one of the mansion's 10 bathrooms. When police arrived, the intruder refused to exit the bathroom, forcing officers to kick down the door to arrest him. Depp was not home at the time.

Two months earlier, in January 2021, a female intruder gained entry but fled after Depp's burglar alarm was triggered. The actor purchased the 1920s-era home, which sits on a four-acre eucalyptus grove, in 1995 for $1.8 million. The mansion features eight bedrooms and a castle-like design with multiple turrets.
