Jack Kay, the 26-year-old social media personality known as the 'Ibiza Final Boss', was assaulted by four masked men in a pub near his hometown in Tyne and Wear. The incident occurred at The Runhead family pub in Ryton on Friday evening.
According to witnesses, the gang burst into the pub armed with weapons, including a car wrench, and chased Kay before throwing him across the bar area. A witness told The Sun: 'The Ibiza Final Boss was there. Then four masked people came in with weapons and threw him across the bar.' The pub was reportedly locked down until police arrived.
Northumbria Police confirmed they responded to a report of affray at about 5.45pm. Officers attended but found no one at the scene. It was later confirmed that the victim, a man in his 20s, sustained a minor injury. Police stated that those involved are believed to be known to each other and there is no wider risk to the public.
Kay, who gained fame for his dance videos and distinctive medieval haircut, had recently been involved in online feuds with other influencers, but police have not linked these to the attack. No arrests have been made, and police are appealing for information.
