Daughter Jailed for Posting Nude Photos of Father's Mistress Refuses to Apologise

A 26-year-old woman who was jailed for posting naked photographs of her father's mistress on a sex-for-sale website has declared she is 'not sorry and never will be sorry'. Eleanor Brown was released from prison early after serving half of her three-year sentence, but instead of showing remorse, she took to social media to express defiance.

The revenge plot unfolded after Brown discovered her father, a former police officer, had been having an affair when she was 14. Twelve years later, she used explicit images—sent to her by her mother—to create a profile on an escort site, offering sexual acts for £5 and overnight stays for £10. The profile was titled 'Ex-police with all my uniform which I like to wear for my clients' and included the phrase 'kinky copper'.

Sentencing Brown at Leeds Crown Court in October 2024, the judge condemned her 'staggering' lack of remorse, describing her behaviour as 'vindictive, selfish and vengeful'. However, in a TikTok video after her release, Brown said: 'If I could turn the clocks back the only thing I'd do differently is put my phone in the bin... I am not remorseful. I do not hold any remorse in my body.'

Brown's sister, Sophie Brown, a serving police officer, was found to have committed gross misconduct for encouraging her sibling's actions. An internal police hearing concluded she would have been sacked had she not already resigned. Their mother, who provided the naked images, was not charged.

In a victim personal statement read in court, the woman at the centre of the case said that to say she felt 'violated' would be an 'understatement'.
