A 38-year-old British man has died after falling approximately 400 feet from Mount Urgull, a popular tourist viewing spot in San Sebastian, northern Spain. The incident occurred on Friday, with the man's body discovered by a passer-by on the Paseo Nuevo coastal walkway at around 11am local time.
Emergency response and investigation
Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, but the man was pronounced dead. A ladder truck was required to retrieve the body from the difficult-to-access location.
