Tuchel Names 55-Man England World Cup Squad: All 51 Players Selected So Far Revealed
Tuchel's 55-Man England World Cup Squad: 51 Players Listed

England head coach Thomas Tuchel has submitted his mandatory 55-man provisional squad to FIFA ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted in Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Mirror Football has analysed all 51 players who have received call-ups from the German manager during previous international windows to predict who might be on the extended list.

Provisional Squad Details

All 48 participating nations have submitted an extended player list to FIFA, from which the final 26-player squads will be selected. Players on this roster can be called up to replace anyone in the final squad who suffers an injury or becomes unavailable. The English FA's list remains confidential, but reports suggest that Danny Welbeck, Luke Shaw, and Jarrad Branthwaite are included, despite Tuchel never having selected any of them before.

Players with Most Appearances Under Tuchel

Since taking charge in January 2025, Tuchel has selected 51 players for senior squads. The most-capped player is Morgan Rogers, who has appeared in 11 of Tuchel's 12 matches. Declan Rice and Marcus Rashford have each featured 10 times, while captain Harry Kane, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, and Ezri Konsa have nine appearances each. These players are almost certain to be on the 55-man list.

Jordan Henderson, Anthony Gordon, and Jarrod Bowen have been selected eight times, while Elliot Anderson and Eberechi Eze have seven appearances each. Anderson is one of nine debutants handed their first England cap by Tuchel, having played against Andorra in September 2025. Other debutants include Dan Burn, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Trevoh Chalobah, Djed Spence, Nico O'Reilly, Jarell Quansah, James Trafford, and James Garner.

Players Yet to Feature

Four players have been named in Tuchel's squads but have not yet played: goalkeepers Jason Steele, Nick Pope, and Aaron Ramsdale, along with midfielder Alex Scott.
