A heckler was removed from Donald Trump's campaign rally in Ohio after interrupting the US President's speech, marking the third consecutive night of disruption at his events. The man shouted about Mr Trump and Jeffrey Epstein while recording himself, but the crowd of supporters drowned him out with boos.
Heckler removed from Ohio rally
The incident occurred during a livestreamed event at the Shoemaker Center at Ohio University on October 28. The man put up his middle finger as two security guards attempted to remove him from the stands. A male bystander helped the security services as the disruptor appeared to resist, and the three men moved the heckler out.
The large crowd began chanting "USA! USA! USA!" in support. The rally was the latest stop on Mr Trump's midterm campaign blitz to boost Republican candidates ahead of the elections on Tuesday, November 3, which political analysts and polls suggest will be a bloodbath for the GOP.
Protester posts footage online
Earlier this week, another heckler shouted at the 80-year-old leader that he could "shove his ballroom up his a--", seemingly referring to Mr Trump's White House ballroom and East Wing renovation project, believed to cost around $600 million. Mr Trump called that heckler a "paid protester" but did not cite evidence.
Later in the evening, the Ohio rally man, who appears to go by Robby Roadsteamer, posted his own phone footage of the incident on his X account. He appears to be a MAGA provocateur, trying to remind the audience that Mr Trump's name appeared repeatedly in the Epstein files following the bipartisan push to release legal documents connected to the convicted criminal.
A mention or appearances in the files does not imply any wrongdoing. Mr Trump has never been charged with any criminal activity connected to the late paedophile and sex offender and fiercely denies any wrongdoing.
Footage shows removal
"Singing The Epstein Plane to Trump at his rally tonite! The raw footage. With the cops pulling me out! (Uncut)," he wrote in a post on X, attaching a video clip over a minute long. "Trump went on the Jeffrey Epstein plane," the man began yelling in a deep voice, repeating himself before being drowned out in boos.
His phone eventually dropped to the ground and he could be heard saying, "Ok, calm down." He picks the phone up and says, "Ow! No political violence! No political violence! No political violence!" as he is escorted out of the venue. An officer appears to tell the man that he was "uninvited" from the event, prompting him to ask, "Why? I'm singing hit songs! No, I wanna go back! We're having fun!" The officers continued to walk him out.
