A psychic known as 'the new Baba Vanga' has predicted that Donald Trump will not complete his second term as US president, suggesting that vice president JD Vance could take his place.
The prediction comes as the Republicans fight to retain control of both the House and the Senate in the midterms on Tuesday, November 3. The outcome could define the remainder of Trump's presidency, but according to British psychic Selina, the 80-year-old will not still be in the Oval Office when his term ends.
Health Crisis Prediction
Selina, who posts on social media under the handle @soul_voyance, claims to have made several accurate predictions this year, including Prince Harry's surprise return to the UK, the assassination attempt on Trump's life in May, and the US and Israel attacking Iran in February.
According to Selina, Trump is set to be struck down by a health crisis before he leaves the White House, ultimately resulting in Vance stepping up to take his place. Speaking to Unilad, she revealed the health scare could worsen over the coming year, hinting that the president may encounter serious cardiac troubles.
Vance to Step Up
She suggested a doctor will advise Trump to step away from the White House on medical grounds. The psychic said: "I think Vance will eventually become president. I think he (Trump) could have problems with his heart. I do think there will be a massive health scare with Donald Trump, a massive health scare. I see him in hospital at some stage."
Selina claimed that details surrounding Trump's health are being kept from the public eye. Despite this, the White House has repeatedly dismissed rumours concerning the president's wellbeing.
Speculation about Trump's health has dogged him throughout his second term, including suggestions of cognitive decline, alongside concerns about his mobility and bruising on his hands. His most recent medical examination, carried out by physician Capt. Sean Barbabella in May, concluded that Trump "remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological and overall physical function."
Previous Predictions
This is not the first time someone has suggested Vance will replace Trump before his presidency concludes. Political commentator James Carville predicted that Trump will step down should the midterms prove catastrophic for the Republicans. Carville, the strategist behind presidential hopefuls such as Bill Clinton, John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, told the Daily Beast Podcast: "He's going to walk away." He added that Trump lacks the strength of character to accept defeat, saying: "He's a soft man."
Current polls indicate it could be a promising day for the Democrats. However, recent history is packed with instances where public opinion polls, even those conducted just days before an election, have missed the mark entirely.
