Winchburgh's Summer Brick Club has received a £500 donation from Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, enabling the programme to expand and welcome more children during the school holidays.
Expanding the programme
The funding follows previous support from the housebuilder, which had already allowed Winchburgh Community Development Trust to increase the number of Brick Club sessions. This year's donation has enabled the team to grow the programme further, ensuring more families in Winchburgh can benefit from the creative building sessions.

Leigh Lauder from Winchburgh Community Development Trust said: “We’re thrilled to have Taylor Wimpey’s support again this summer. Their previous contribution made a huge difference, and this year’s donation has allowed us to welcome even more children into our Brick Club sessions. The demand is always high, and having the ability to grow the programme means we can offer more opportunities for creativity, confidence-building and fun.”
Representatives from Taylor Wimpey East Scotland attended a session, where they joined children in designing and building imaginative structures.
