Couples could pocket a free £360 by switching to Santander's Edge account, according to Money Saving Expert (MSE). The deal also includes a £30 Amazon voucher, effectively offering £210 per person.
MSE described the offer as a 'cheat code' for couples, who can each open an account to double the cashback potential. The account costs £3 a month but offers up to £10 monthly cashback on household bills paid by direct debit, typically covering the fee.
To qualify, customers must switch to Santander Edge using a specific link provided by MSE. The £180 switching cash and £30 Amazon voucher are paid after meeting criteria, with the voucher claimable via email after August 30.
For those with higher bills, MSE suggests upgrading to Santander Edge Up (£5 monthly fee) for up to £15 monthly cashback on bills, though it requires a £1,500 monthly pay-in and excludes the 6% saver account.
