Sir Richard Branson and Ryan Reynolds have announced a new partnership between Virgin Atlantic and Aviation American Gin, bringing together two of the duo's favourite things: gin and travel.
The collaboration will see Aviation American Gin served in Virgin Atlantic's Clubhouses and on board its fleet. However, a tongue-in-cheek video suggests Reynolds may have bigger ambitions, as he jokingly proposes a merger into a new entity called 'AviaVirginAtion'.
Sir Richard Branson expressed delight at the partnership, stating: 'I’m delighted Virgin Atlantic is working with Ryan and his team on this partnership. Aviation Gin was born out of a spirit of innovation, so serving it on board Virgin Atlantic flights seemed like the perfect combination.'
Ryan Reynolds added: 'I’ve been a huge fan of Sir Richard Branson and Virgin for years. For Aviation to be chosen as the gin of choice for such an iconic and quintessentially British brand is a complete honour.'
To celebrate, selected passengers on Virgin Atlantic flights on 30th September will enjoy a special mixology experience from top bartenders. Additionally, from October 3rd to 7th, London Cocktail Week will feature exclusive Aviation Gin cocktails at the Old Truman Brewery.
