The actor, who stars alongside Zendaya in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, responded to speculation sparked by stylist Law Roach's earlier claim that the wedding had already taken place.
When asked about fake AI images of him and Zendaya getting married, Holland revealed that his grandmother had seen them and thought she wasn't invited. When pressed if he had to reassure other family members, he said, 'No, because they were all there,' seemingly confirming a wedding. He declined to elaborate, stating, 'That's all you'll get on that.'
Holland did open up about his relationship with Zendaya, whom he met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. He described her as his 'person' and 'best friend,' adding, 'I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her... I have never felt so supported and safe.' The couple, known for keeping their private life out of the spotlight, have largely avoided confirming or denying marriage rumours until now.
The news comes ahead of the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which hits UK cinemas on July 31. The film is the final chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before Avengers: Doomsday in December.
