Winkleman and Daly Plan Private Strictly Viewing Party

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are reportedly organising an intimate, private wrap party early next year to celebrate their departure from Strictly Come Dancing, according to sources. The duo, who hosted their final live show on Saturday, are said to be planning a 'boozy' affair for close colleagues.

Daly, 56, and Winkleman, 53, attended the official wrap party over the weekend. However, while Daly stayed until the early hours to celebrate footballer Karen Carney's win, Winkleman left after only one drink. A source told The Sun that the pair are now arranging a more relaxed gathering in the New Year.

“Tess and Claudia are arranging a big Strictly gathering in the New Year for all the team to get together and have a proper boozy send-off,” the source said. “It'll be a long lunch with all their closest friends on the show where everyone can really let loose behind closed doors.”

Daly and Winkleman made their final appearance on Saturday's final, which saw former Lioness Karen Carney lift the glitterball trophy with partner Carlos Gu. The show featured emotional tributes to the departing hosts, including messages from Queen Camilla and Mary Berry.

The duo first announced their departure in October, sparking speculation over replacements. Current betting odds include names such as Zoe Ball, Alan Carr and Alison Hammond. Both presenters will also appear on a pre-recorded Christmas special on Wednesday.
