The United Nations has issued a forceful demand for justice and a full investigation following a second Israeli airstrike on a major Gaza hospital within 48 hours, an act the UN's top official in the region has labelled a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
The latest attack targeted the al-Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza City, a facility already overwhelmed with patients and displaced civilians seeking shelter. This strike comes a mere day after a separate bombing hit the same complex, creating a scene of devastation and compounding an already catastrophic humanitarian situation.
