All five members of the Spice Girls reunited on Saturday night to celebrate Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday in London. Posh, Scary, Baby, Ginger and Sporty Spice – otherwise known as Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie Chisholm – came together at Oswald's private members club in Mayfair.
The bandmates performed their classic song 'Stop', with David Beckham sharing the moment on Instagram. The former England captain, 48, was seen singing along, captioning the video: 'I mean come on.' Victoria responded in the comments: 'Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife.'
The party attracted celebrity guests including Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Gordon Ramsay. Victoria shared photos of her family – husband David and their four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper – ahead of the event. The Beckham men wore tuxedos, while Victoria opted for a light green ball gown and Harper a cream floor-length dress.
Fans were delighted to see the five Spice Girls together for the first time in years. One commented: 'The moment the entire planet has been waiting for.' Another pleaded: 'Can we have a word about transporting this to Glastonbury please?' Bookmaker Coral has slashed odds on an official reunion in 2024, and a Glastonbury performance and new album in 2025.
The Spice Girls formed in 1994 and became a global phenomenon with hits like 'Wannabe' and 'Spice Up Your Life'. They last toured in 2019 without Victoria. The birthday performance marks the first time all five have performed together since then.
