Sharon Stone led the celebrations at Vienna's Life Ball this weekend, joining 40,000 partygoers in the Austrian capital for a flurry of feathers, glitter, and colourful costumes.
The 'Basic Instinct' star, fresh from a string of appearances at the Cannes Film Festival, hitched up her elegant satin gown to avoid tripping as she climbed steps into the venue. Her monochrome look was more demure than many outfits on display, with revellers dressed as fairies, in period costume, or extravagant carnival-style attire.
The event, which raises funds for AIDS charities, also saw fashion designer Vivienne Westwood in attendance. The British style icon arrived on the arm of an Austrian TV presenter, wearing a sheer, cut-out gown accessorised with a gold skull necklace.
Other famous faces included celebrity photographer Mario Testino and Berlin-born model Nadja Auermann, adding to the glittering atmosphere of the ball.
