Seann Walsh: From Strictly Scandal to Jungle Comeback

Comedian Seann Walsh is set to enter the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle on Wednesday night, hoping to redeem his public image after a kissing scandal on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018. Walsh, 36, will join former health secretary Matt Hancock as a late arrival in the ITV reality show.

Walsh rose to fame on the stand-up circuit, appearing on shows like Mock the Week and 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. However, his career took a hit when he was caught kissing his Strictly professional partner, Katya Jones, while both were in relationships. Katya was married to fellow dancer Neil Jones, and Walsh had a girlfriend of five years, Rebecca Humphries.

Photos and videos emerged of the pair kissing outside a London pub weeks into the competition. Humphries later released a statement accusing Walsh of 'inappropriate, hurtful behaviour' and revealing she was alone on her birthday when the incident occurred. Both Walsh and Jones issued public apologies, calling it a 'one-off drunken mistake'.

Katya and Neil initially stayed together but split 10 months later after seven years of marriage. Walsh is now in a relationship with Grace Adderley, and the couple are expecting their first child. Walsh said Grace convinced him to enter the jungle, telling him not to worry about public opinion and to have a 'wonderful' time.

Acknowledging the past, Walsh said: 'People have voiced their feelings about me... I hope they will see I am very different.' I'm a Celebrity... returns tonight at 9pm on ITV.
