Olivia Rodrigo has confirmed the title of her third studio album and set a release date for this June. The album, titled 'You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So In Love', will be released on 12 June.
The singer shared the cover art on Instagram, which shows her wearing a pink outfit on a swing. 'My third album ... is out June 12th. I am so proud of this record and I can't wait for you to hear it. Available for preorder now!' she wrote.
The album is available for pre-order on Rodrigo's website in formats including vinyl, CD, cassette and digital. Vinyl variants include 180-gram, pop-up blue, hot pink and black, while a pink and baby blue cassette is also available. A signed copy of the CD has already sold out.
Rodrigo has reunited with producer Dan Nigro for the album, following her previous studio albums 'Sour' (2021) and 'Guts' (2023). 'Sour' was certified six times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), while 'Guts' achieved triple platinum status.
Rodrigo's hit singles include 'Drivers License', 'Deja Vu', 'Good 4 U', 'Brutal', 'Vampire', 'Bad Idea Right' and 'Get Him Back!'. In 2023, she contributed to 'The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes' soundtrack with 'Can't Catch Me Now'.
