Olivia Dean was the standout winner at the 2026 MOBO Awards, taking home three trophies including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Female Act. The ceremony, held at Manchester's Co-op Live on Thursday evening (March 26), marked the first time the event was hosted in the city.
The singer, who also performed at the awards, expressed her pride as a black British female artist while accepting the Best Female Act award. She dedicated the honour to her mother and aunt. Later, collecting her third award, she thanked black feminists and author Bell Hooks for inspiring her to love better.
Other notable winners included Stephen Graham, who won Best TV and Film Performances for his role in 'Adolescence'. He thanked his fellow nominees and his family for their support. The Best Newcomer award went to 19-year-old rapper DC3, who was visibly emotional on stage.
The night also featured a lifetime achievement award for Slick Rick, who performed alongside Estelle. Pharrell Williams received the MOBO Global Songwriter Award. The ceremony was hosted by comedians Eve and Eddie Kadi and broadcast live on Twitch via Amazon Music.
