Gardeners' World presenter Monty Don has revealed an embarrassing incident where he chased cows naked through his garden. The 69-year-old broadcaster was taking a bath when he spotted the herd wandering onto his Herefordshire estate.
Speaking to The Sun, Don explained that he grabbed a towel and rushed outside to scare the animals away. He put on wellies, but the towel fell off, leaving him running around Long Meadow completely naked. Despite the mishap, he successfully drove the cows out.
Don took over as host of the BBC horticultural show in 2003, replacing Alan Titchmarsh. He has since become a national treasure, with the programme now filmed at his own garden. He recently assured fans he will continue presenting for at least another two years from January 2025.
The incident comes after Don shared a worrying update about flooding and snow damaging his garden. He posted on Instagram that it was the first time in 34 years his garden had experienced both flooding and lying snow simultaneously.
