Love Island All Stars Winners Molly and Tom Launch NearlyWeds Podcast

Love Island All Stars champions Molly Smith and Tom Clare are embarking on a new venture as they prepare to take over the popular NearlyWeds podcast from former hosts Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo. The couple, who became engaged in September last year after dating for eighteen months, will share their wedding planning journey with listeners in a series produced by Jamie's production company, JamPot.

A Promotional Glimpse into the Big Day

A promotional video for the podcast, titled NearlyWeds With Molly & Tom, offers a charming preview. It features Molly, aged thirty, adorned in a breathtaking wedding dress, while Tom, twenty-six, waits suited at the top of the aisle. The scene unfolds with Jamie Laing appearing as the 'Vicar' to introduce the new hosts, adding a playful touch to the announcement.

Continuing a Successful Franchise

The format remains consistent with the long-running podcast originally hosted by the Made In Chelsea stars. Jamie and Sophie developed the franchise, which includes NearlyWeds, NewlyWeds, and NearlyParents. With the arrival of their son Ziggy in December, the couple is stepping back from the franchise to focus on new projects, making room for Molly and Tom to bring fresh energy to the series.

Molly expressed her enthusiasm, stating: 'As if we weren't excited enough already about the wedding, we now get to share all of our excitement (and the chaos of planning) with the listeners!' The couple added: 'We can't wait to take you on this journey with us; from how we picked the venue, to what's been planned already and what's left to do. There's going to be nothing out of bounds… except revealing the dress of course!'

Inspiration and New Beginnings

Molly and Tom acknowledged Jamie and Sophie as inspirations, praising their stunning wedding and the insights gained from listening to their NewlyWeds podcast. Craig Strachan, CEO of JamPot Productions, commented: 'With NearlyWeds with Molly & Tom, we’re giving fans the next chapter they’ve been waiting for. Expanding the NearlyWeds universe at this moment feels incredibly exciting, especially as we build on the brilliant foundation Jamie and Sophie have created across the franchise. We’re thrilled to welcome Molly and Tom into the family.'

Background and Future Projects

Tom and Molly, who won the All Stars series in 2024, have remained one of the few enduring couples from the spin-off. Molly's entry as a bombshell initially shocked her ex-boyfriend Callum, whom she met during the winter edition in 2020. While viewers speculated about a potential reunion, Molly pursued a connection with Tom instead.

Since their victory, Molly has secured several lucrative endorsement deals, including partnerships with boohoo, Alani Nu, Abbott Lyon, L'Oréal Paris, and Maybelline. Reflecting on their relationship, Molly shared: 'You know sometimes when you think, 'Is this too good to be true?' I don't like jinxing things but right now I can't fault our relationship.'

Meanwhile, Jamie and Sophie are preparing for their next project: a docuseries on Disney+ that explores their journey to parenthood, from pregnancy to balancing professional lives. Jamie stated: 'It's such an honour to now partner with the incredible teams at Disney+ and Dorothy St Pictures to bring our next chapter to viewers across the globe.'

NearlyWeds with Molly & Tom is set to premiere on 3rd March, available on YouTube and all major podcast platforms, offering an intimate look into the couple's wedding preparations.
