Meghan Markle took to Instagram on Monday evening to share a carousel of romantic photographs for Valentine's Day on her lifestyle brand As Ever's account. Among the images was a picture of the Duchess of Sussex wearing a navy strapless dress by French designer Roland Mouret.
The dress, known as the 'Aldrich', is from the Resort '17 collection and features a botanical floral pattern embossed on weightless linen-blend cloqué. Meghan first wore the elegant number in 2018 when she attended the Royal Foundation Dinner at Kensington Palace with Prince Harry.
In the new post, Meghan styled the dress with flat slingback shoes, round-rimmed sunglasses, and her hair in a relaxed bun. She captioned the post: 'Tomorrow, we revisit something sweet. One flavour worth the wait. Another worth returning for. Sign up so you don't miss it.'
Meghan and Roland Mouret have been friends for years. She previously recalled meeting him in a bathrobe, saying, 'I love to dress you,' which led to their friendship. Mouret told the New York Post in 2018: 'Meghan knows really well what she likes and the main thing with Meghan is to listen to her and work in collaboration with her.'
Clare Waight Keller, who designed Meghan's wedding dress, echoed similar sentiments, describing her as 'genuine and warm and radiant' and 'a strong woman who knows what she wants'. The dress was rumoured at one point to have been designed by Mouret for the royal wedding.
