Olivia Attwood and Maura Higgins had an awkward encounter at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in New York after both wore nearly identical sheer black dresses. The event, held at The Plaza hotel, saw the former Love Island stars arrive in strikingly similar outfits, sparking renewed speculation about their reported feud.
Attwood, 34, wore a floor-length sheer dress with puff sleeves and black underwear, accessorised with long black leather gloves. Higgins, also 34, opted for a similar sheer black dress but with a plunging neckline. The coincidence comes amid claims that Higgins has been 'copying' Attwood's career moves.
Both stars began their careers as Grid Girls for Formula One before appearing on Love Island—Attwood in series three and Higgins in series five. They later transitioned into presenting roles and both participated in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, with Attwood leaving early on medical grounds in 2022 and Higgins reaching the final in 2024.
Reports suggest Attwood is frustrated that Higgins has signed with the same PR agency, Align PR, for a second time after leaving Dundas Communications. A source close to Attwood told The Sun: 'Olivia's never been Maura's biggest fan... It feels like she wants to be the next Olivia, rather than building her own brand.'
However, a friend of Higgins dismissed the rivalry, stating: 'Yes, there has been some overlap between her career and Olivia's, but that happens in this industry... The decision to work with Align has nothing to do with Olivia.' The friend added that Higgins is re-engaging US-based PR ahead of her appearance on Traitors USA.
