Madonna offers reward for missing vintage Coachella outfit

Madonna has appealed for the safe return of the vintage costume she wore during her headline set at Coachella on Friday, offering a reward for the missing items.

The Like A Virgin singer performed alongside popstar Sabrina Carpenter during the second weekend of the California music festival, wearing a purple corset bodysuit, stockings, and lavender gloves. She noted on stage that it was the same corset, boots, and Gucci jacket she had worn during her first Coachella appearance in 2006.

Taking to Instagram, Madonna wrote that the costume, which included a jacket, corset, and dress pulled from her personal archives, had gone missing, along with other archival items from the same era. She described the pieces as 'part of my history' and asked any kind soul who found them to contact her team.

The 67-year-old singer also used the post to announce that the sequel to her 2005 album Confessions On A Dance Floor, titled Confessions II, would be released on 3 July. During her set, she and Carpenter performed hits including Vogue and Like A Prayer, as well as a new song reportedly from the upcoming album.

Madonna, who launched her career in the 1980s, has won seven Grammys and two Brit awards.
