Robyn Langton, a 21-year-old quantity surveyor and DJ from Liverpool, has revealed that her father has banned her from having sex on television as she prepares to enter the Love Island villa. The upcoming series of the hit ITV dating show begins on Monday, June 1, with Maya Jama returning as host.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Langton described herself as a 'daddy's girl' and said her father has set clear boundaries. 'He's like, I don't really want to watch that with my daughter!' she said, adding that she wouldn't engage in sexual activity on screen anyway. Langton admitted she's unsure if her father will even watch the show, joking that he'll probably be camping and fishing.
Despite her father's concerns, Langton expressed full confidence in her ability to navigate the villa. 'I am definitely, definitely going there for myself,' she said. 'I usually do get what I want, so I feel like the villa probably isn't gonna change that, so if I do have to step on toes, I definitely, definitely will!'
Langton also dismissed any worries about competition from other female contestants. 'There is no competition with me. I am very, very confident in myself,' she stated. 'If someone wants to take my man, then he was never mine anyway.' She emphasised that she wants a partner who is fully committed to her.
