Lauren Goodger, an original cast member of The Only Way Is Essex, is returning for the latest series, this time with her four-year-old daughter Larose. The 39-year-old said she hopes for a calmer experience, having struggled with anxiety during her initial return two years ago.
Goodger said she has bonded with a group of older castmates, including Amy Childs, Sophie Kasaei, Elma Pazar, and Saffron Lempriere, with whom she shares a group chat for the over-30s. She added that she now feels more involved and enjoys genuine friendships with the cast.
Her upcoming tell-all book, originally scheduled for February, has been pushed back to July. Goodger described the writing process as 'very hard' and 'really difficult', but said the book will help others who have experienced loss. She noted that it covers topics she has never spoken about before and corrects media inaccuracies.
Goodger also addressed the cast divide, expressing hope that tensions between Joe Blackman, Junaid Ahmed, and Harry Derbidge are resolved. 'The drama is history. Let's move on and be civil,' she said, adding that life is too short for ongoing feuds.
