Kimberley Garner's Romantic Revelation and Business Rebrand
Kimberley Garner, the former Made In Chelsea star, has sparked speculation about her love life after sharing a video of a passionate kiss with a mystery man on a Maldivian beach. The 35-year-old swimwear designer confirmed she is in a new relationship, though she is keeping her partner's identity under wraps for now.
From Romance to Rebranding: The Inspiration Behind 'Sunday'
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail's Richard Eden, Kimberley revealed that her boyfriend has been a positive influence, even inspiring elements of her business. "I am in a new relationship but it's early days," she explained. "We met through friends over the summer last year and started dating three months ago."
This romantic connection has directly impacted her swimwear brand, which she recently rebranded from Kimberley London to Sunday Swimwear. Kimberley noted that her boyfriend's style influenced some of the menswear designs in her new unisex label. "It's like a his-and-her concept," she said. "It's a cute, fun thing to do. My boyfriend loves wearing the designs."
Overcoming Challenges in Business
Despite her current success, Kimberley faced early hurdles when launching her swimwear line in 2013, a year after appearing on the third season of Made In Chelsea. She admitted to pretending to be an intern initially because no one took her seriously as a young entrepreneur. "I was 18 when I started my first company," she recalled. "I came up with an idea, stayed up for days learning how to register the company and teaching myself. It became very successful overnight."
However, her youthful appearance and voice led to misconceptions. "No one would take me seriously or realise it was my company," Kimberley shared. "So, I pretended to be the intern! I handled all the meetings, phone calls, and emails for the company. When it became a success, I put all the revenues into starting Kimberley London."
Past Relationships and Future Prospects
Kimberley's new romance follows her previous relationship with trader William Claeyssens de Tena, whom she first stepped out with at the Chain of Hope Gala Ball in November 2024. They were last pictured together in January 2025, though the exact timing of their breakup remains unclear. Prior to William, she dated financier Andreas Anthis from summer 2023 until April 2024, describing the split as the "right decision." She also previously dated her Made In Chelsea co-star Richard Dinan.
As Kimberley embraces this new chapter, she expressed excitement about her brand's evolution. In an Instagram post last month, she announced the rebranding: "Feels amazing to announce that Kimberley swimwear is to be named Sunday Swimwear. A name I've dreamed about since the inception of this brand that finally turned into reality. I'm beyond excited for this new chapter and can't wait to show you the new artistic direction for the brand."
