Former MIC Star Kimberley Garner Returns with New Swimwear Collection

Former Made in Chelsea star Kimberley Garner is back with a new swimwear collection under her brand Kimberley London, following the sell-out success of her debut line last year. Garner, who was known on the show for her relationships with Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing, and for clashing with Cheska Hull, has distanced herself from reality TV to focus on her fashion venture.

The new collection features bikinis and cut-out swimsuits in bright colours, including a one-shoulder piece inspired by old Hollywood. Garner, who models her own designs, chose a more natural look for the campaign, gaining a stone in weight to “set a good example for young girls”. She previously faced a legal case with Agent Provocateur over design similarities, which was dropped.

Garner, who studied at the London College of Fashion, emphasises that she runs the business herself and designs everything from scratch. “All of my products are made in England, the fabrics are Italian and the gold charms are Parisian,” she said. Prices start at £65, and she aims to offer “Heidi Klein quality” at an affordable price.

The swimwear is already popular with fans in Europe and the Middle East, and Garner is in talks with US stores. She plans to expand Kimberley London into a lifestyle brand if the collection continues to succeed. Unlike some reality stars who lend their name to products, Garner is hands-on, having started sketching designs as a child.
