In her new! magazine column, Kerry wrote: "I was so excited when I saw S Club are working on a reunion! I think we’re so desperate for that kind of nostalgia now. After watching Girlbands Forever, I started to realise it. It brought so much back for me."

She added: "We’re missing a lot now - there’s no real pop styles anymore. I’m so glad to have been a part of that generation because now, the world really concerns me. Kids have just got iPads now. Kerry also mentioned hearing rumours about the band getting back together but holds no grudges, acknowledging she wouldn't be where she is today without them. She concluded: "It’s just very sad that I have nobody to reminisce with about those days."

Different people, standards, boxes - you end up pigeonholed. Why can’t we have it all? It’s just jealousy, I think."
