Junior Andre has spoken out about the 'disgusting' abusive comments his brother Harvey Price faces online. In the first episode of the second series of The Princess Diaries, the 20-year-old musician discussed the trolling his older brother endures due to his disabilities.
Harvey, 23, has Prader-Willi Syndrome, septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness, and autism. Over the years, he has been subjected to cruel messages, including from Metropolitan Police officers who were sacked for exchanging offensive comments in a WhatsApp group.
Junior said: 'Harvey is the best person so it's sad when people have horrible things to say. He gets so many abusive disgusting comments online. And he can't even defend himself. The good thing is he won't read it. But for those around him, it's not nice at all. He is surrounded by love, love is all he knows.'
Princess Andre, 18, added that taking Harvey out has become easier since he started attending a residential school. She explained: 'Some of his triggers when we are out are like doors banging, or if there's no food or anything. The only thing is, once he does kick off, you need a lot of strength and you need to learn how to talk to him in order to help him calm down.'
Their mother, Katie Price, has previously written about the trolling, vowing to hold abusers accountable. She said: 'No troll should retain the right to be able to hide behind their abusive, malicious posts. I will leave no stone unturned – I won't stop until all of those who bully and victimise people like Harvey are exposed and held accountable.'
