JJ Slater has shared a heartfelt post about enduring difficult times following his split from Katie Price, who recently admitted she was never in love with him. The 32-year-old reality star, who met Price on 'Married At First Sight', took to social media to reflect on his journey.
In the post, Slater wrote: 'Some days weren’t easy, but I kept showing up. Smiled in public… fought battles in private. When nothing made sense, I just prayed and kept it moving. The same pressure that tried to break me built me.' He added that he was 'grateful, humbled, and thankful to God for every lesson'.
Fans offered support, with one commenting: 'You are back to the gorgeous you… don’t ever let any woman rule your world.' Another said: 'You look so much better, so much happier and relaxed.'
The post comes after Price, 47, told The Sun she had only ever been 'in love' with her first husband Peter Andre, Dane Bowers, and her new husband Lee Andrews. She married Andrews weeks after splitting from Slater, who suspects they may have been seeing each other while he was still in a relationship with her.
Meanwhile, Price has defended Andrews against claims he is a 'conman', after an ex-girlfriend, Alana Percival, alleged he proposed to her in the same way just months earlier. Price insisted: 'I’m not stupid. I haven’t gone for a con man.'
