The apparent friction emerged during a challenge to win eggs for breakfast, in which a plastic hen was placed in camp and contestants had to catch the eggs after hearing a clucking sound. Adam, who caught several eggs, boasted in the Bush Telegraph: "I am the egg catcher. Some people may call me an egg-spert."
Harry subsequently made a comment about Adam's performance, saying: "Adam could have caught one in his mouth. Could have opened his gob and caught one couldn't he." The remark prompted a reaction from viewers, with one writing on Twitter: "Oooh bitchy comment about Adam there from Harry! #imaceleb." Another asked: "Was that a snarky comment from Harry about Adam catching an egg in his mouth? #ImACeleb." A further viewer added: "Anyone get the feeling Harry doesn't like Adam? #imaceleb."
The All Stars series has already seen Adam involved in earlier disputes. He was previously targeted by David Haye, whose repeated comments Adam described as banter but others labelled as bullying. Adam also clashed with Jimmy over a trial, which the former footballer appeared to throw, leading to both being eliminated just days before the final.
Reflecting on his time in the jungle, Adam recently opened up about the psychological impact of the experience. He said: "I know for a fact, I'm not the same person as I was when I went into the jungle, to when I came out. It's changed me and that's no over-exaggeration. I'm in therapy now because of it." He added that the situation left him with nowhere to hide, saying: "You just have to grin and bear it."
