I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! bosses are reportedly threatening to cut Jimmy Bullard's fee by 20% if he refuses to attend the show's final on 24 April. The former footballer is said to be considering skipping the finale following a heated argument with Adam Thomas, which will air on Tuesday's episode.
The altercation occurred during a Bushtucker Trial, where Bullard froze and failed to participate, prompting Thomas to confront him. The exchange escalated into a sweary bust-up, with Bullard shouting the show's famous catchphrase. Sources claim the fallout has been so severe that Bullard is adamant he will not attend the final, despite the financial penalty.
A source told The Sun that Bullard's absence would result in a 20% reduction of his fee. The insider added that Bullard is prepared to face the consequences, as he believes the rift with Thomas is irreparable. ITV and Bullard's representatives have been contacted for comment.
Fellow campmate Craig Charles, however, told Good Morning Britain that Bullard had indicated he would be at the final. The show's producers are reportedly concerned about the potential no-show, which could affect the finale's dynamics.
