Grey's Anatomy stars Scorsone and Fightmaster in real-life romance

Grey's Anatomy stars Caterina Scorsone and E.R. Fightmaster appear to have confirmed a real-life romance, years after their on-screen characters ended their relationship. The pair were seen leaving the Highly Likely cafe in Los Angeles hand-in-hand after lunch, according to paparazzi photos published by E! News.

Scorsone, 44, wore a green shirt with the word 'oui' and a matching baseball cap, while Fightmaster, 33, wore a white button-down, brown slacks and a baseball cap. Representatives for both actors have been contacted for comment.

Scorsone, who plays Dr. Amelia Shepherd, has been a cast member since season seven in 2010 and also starred in the spin-off Private Practice. She was previously married to musician Rob Giles from 2009 to 2020 and has three daughters. Fightmaster joined the show in season 18 as Dr. Kai Bartley, the first nonbinary doctor on the series, and their character had a romantic storyline with Amelia before breaking up in season 19.

Since the split, Amelia has had relationships with Dr. Monica Beltran and Dr. Toni Wright. The apparent real-life romance comes after cost-cutting measures led to Scorsone's extended break from the series.
