Gogglebox star Twaine Plummer was notably absent from last week's episode, prompting fans to question his whereabouts. The sibling trio, who joined the show in 2016, were reduced to two as Twaine took a holiday to celebrate his 40th birthday.
Before the episode aired, brothers Tremaine and Tristan explained on Instagram: 'It's just the two T's today as Twaine left us to go on holiday. So we've got a new member of the team now,' before introducing their dog. Twaine later replied, 'Wish I was there,' and shared snaps from his trip to Colombia, writing: 'lived 14,610 days.'
Fans rushed to wish him a happy birthday, with many flooding his social media with supportive messages. The brothers have been part of Gogglebox for nearly a decade, but away from the show, they pursue different careers. Twaine and Tristan have professional football backgrounds, while Twaine now works as a DJ, and Tremaine hosts a breakfast radio show on Bristol's Ujima FM.
In other Gogglebox news, Helena Worthington, who appears with her parents Alison and George, announced the birth of her second child, a baby girl. She shared the news on Instagram, saying: 'Swapping screen time for snuggles (and plenty of nappy changes!) as we welcome our little one to the world.' Fellow star Izzi Warner commented: 'Ahh she's adorable congratulations to you all.'
