Gemma Collins Accuses Sinitta of Betrayal in I'm A Celeb Feud Before Show Airs
A major celebrity feud has erupted even before the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! hits screens, with former Towie star Gemma Collins at the centre of the drama. According to insider reports, Collins has accused her campmate, eighties pop star Sinitta, of leaking stories about her to the media, creating a tense atmosphere among the contestants.
Allegations Made in Group Chat
The conflict reportedly began when Collins, known as The GC, dropped a bombshell message into the All Stars contestants' WhatsApp group. Sources claim she accused Sinitta of being the source of press leaks, leaving the singer dumbfounded and incredibly upset. The message allegedly caused shockwaves, with no one replying immediately, and it cast a shadow over what had been a cheerful group dynamic.
An insider told The Sun: "It was like Wagatha Christie all over again. No one in the group could believe what they were reading. Some of the celebs rallied to Sinitta because they felt it was unnecessary to make such an accusation in a group setting." This incident has reportedly left other cast members fearful they could be targeted next, adding to the pre-show tensions.
Face-to-Face Encounter at Launch Event
The feud came to a head earlier this month when the cast reunited for the show's launch in London. This marked the first time Collins and Sinitta had seen each other since the allegations were made. Sinitta attempted to ease the unspoken tension, but Collins reportedly brushed it off, acting as if nothing had happened. However, insiders note that the incident has caused significant ripples among the cast, affecting group morale.
The jungle spin-off, set to return on April 6, features a star-studded lineup including Harry Redknapp, Sir Mo Farah, Scarlett Moffatt, Adam Thomas, David Haye, Seann Walsh, Ashley Roberts, Craig Charles, Beverley Callard, and Jimmy Bullard, alongside Collins and Sinitta. All twelve campmates are scheduled to meet again at the live final on April 24, where unresolved conflicts may surface.
Previous Drama on Set
This isn't the first sign of trouble for the All Stars series. In November, reports emerged that Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas totally lost it during a Bushtucker Trial while paired with former footballer Jimmy Bullard. Witnessed by hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, the explosive row saw Thomas screaming at Bullard, shocking fellow contestants and forcing producers to intervene.
A source explained: "Adam is intensely competitive and was taking his jungle return very seriously. He was frustrated by what happened in the Bushtucker Trial and lost his temper." The fallout from this incident has lingered, with Bullard notably absent from the recent launch event, raising questions about his attendance at the final.
As the show's premiere approaches, these behind-the-scenes feuds and tensions promise to add an extra layer of drama to the anticipated series, keeping viewers on edge for more explosive moments.
