Gemma Collins is reportedly at the centre of a new celebrity feud, with claims the new series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! is already 'kicking off' before it has even aired. According to sources, the former Towie star has accused her campmate Sinitta of leaking stories about her to the media.
It is thought Collins made the allegations on an All Stars contestants' group WhatsApp, leaving the eighties pop star 'dumbfounded and incredibly upset'. An insider told The Sun: 'A few weeks back, out of nowhere, she dropped a message into the group WhatsApp chat accusing someone of leaking stories about her to the Press. And before anyone could even tap out a reply, she accused Sinitta of being the rat.'
The group filmed the show last autumn, and earlier this month reunited for the show launch in London. It was the first time Sinitta and Collins – who famously quit the show after just three days in 2014 – came face to face since Collins made her allegations. It is thought Sinitta made an attempt to ease the 'unspoken tension' with Collins at the event, but to everyone's surprise, the reality star brushed it off and 'made out like it was nothing.'
The insider added: 'But it's caused ripples amongst the cast, who are now scared they could be accused next.' A representative for Collins declined to comment. The jungle spin-off will return to screens on April 6, with Harry Redknapp, Sir Mo Farah, Scarlett Moffatt, Adam Thomas, David Haye, Seann Walsh, Ashley Roberts, Craig Charles, Beverley Callard and Jimmy Bullard all joining Collins and Sinitta.
This is not the first whisper of drama from the show. In November, it was reported Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas 'totally lost it' during a Bushtucker Trial that saw him paired with ex-footballer Jimmy Bullard. A source told The Sun: 'Adam totally lost it. It was completely unexpected and deeply shocked the other campmates - including Jimmy, who didn't see it coming.'
