The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place in Vienna, Austria, following JJ's victory in 2025 with 'Wasted Love'. The Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday 16 May, with Semi-Finals on Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 May. This marks the third time Vienna has hosted the contest, after 1967 and 2015.
The BBC will broadcast the event across its channels and iPlayer. Hosts Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski will present the 70th edition. The UK, as a member of the 'Big Five', automatically qualifies for the Grand Final and will perform and vote in the Second Semi-Final.

Other acts include Albania's Alis Kallaçi with 'Nân', Bulgaria's Dara, Croatia's LELEK with 'Andromeda', Cyprus's Antigoni Buxton, Denmark's Søren Torpegaard Lund with 'Før vi går hjem', Estonia's Vanilla Ninja with 'Too Epic To Be True', and Georgia's Bzikebi.
The winner is determined by a 50/50 split of jury votes and public televoting. Further details on running orders and additional entries are expected closer to the contest.
