The anniversary programme will delve deeply into this legacy, featuring a conversation between Deepa Bhasthi, translator of the 2025 winner Heart Lamp by Banu Mushtaq, and acclaimed translator and 2017 judge Daniel Hahn.
Prestigious Panels and Publishing Insights
Adding further distinction, David Diop, author of the 2021 winning novel At Night All Blood is Black, will engage in dialogue with renowned historian and 2021 judge Olivette Otele. The commercial dimensions of these literary successes will also be examined, with contributions from Jacques Testard of Fitzcarraldo Editions, which boasts a record 17 International Booker Prize nominations, and agent Laurence Laluyaux of RCW Literary Agency, representing winners including Han Kang and Olga Tokarczuk.
