David Beckham and his son Romeo have headed to Canada for a skiing trip, seemingly ignoring recent public remarks from eldest son Brooklyn. The 50-year-old former footballer shared updates from Island Lake Lodge in Fernie, British Columbia, a secluded resort with 7,000 acres of private terrain.
Posting on Instagram, David wrote: 'Every year I try to take 4 days in the mountains in Fernie British Columbia one of my favourite places to be... thank you to everyone at @islandlakelodge for always making it so special!' The father-and-son duo were seen enjoying Stella Artois, a brand David represents as global ambassador.
The trip comes after Brooklyn appeared to snub his mother Victoria on Mother's Day in the UK, instead posting a birthday tribute to his mother-in-law Claudia Heffner Peltz. David, however, shared a heartfelt message to Victoria, calling her 'the most amazing mummy'.
Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz have been estranged from David and Victoria since their 2022 wedding. Earlier this year, Brooklyn issued a statement accusing his parents of prioritising 'Brand Beckham' over family relationships, saying he does not wish to reconcile.
