Dani Dyer has made a poignant admission about her father, actor Danny Dyer, revealing she would have him stuffed after his death so she could always keep him close. The 29-year-old reality star spoke ahead of the launch of their new Sky series, The Dyers' Caravan Park.
In the show, Danny, 48, attempts to revive the classic British caravan holiday by investing in Priory Hill in Leysdown, Kent. Dani joins her father in the venture, drawing on their close bond developed through previous collaborations such as the podcast Sorted with the Dyers and the travel show Absolutely Dyer: Danny and Dani do Italy.
Discussing their relationship, Dani said: 'I really would! He's just my best mate; I just adore him. Me and mum have got the most amazing relationship and I'm really close with my dad as well. I don't know if it's because they had me so young and I've gone through life with them together, but I just adore that man so much.'
She added: 'He's like the naughty boy that I have to rein in a little bit. I always say to him, if he was in my year at school, I would want to be his mate. We just have such a good bond.'
Danny echoed the sentiment, saying: 'I said "if I do it, I'd like to get my daughter Dani involved because I think we have a real chemistry and I love being around her". It was a wonderful opportunity for me and her to spend the summer together, so I just thought: "F**k it, let's do it and see if there's still something in a caravan holiday."'
The Dyers' Caravan Park launches on 24 February on Sky and NOW.
