Helen Flanagan Eyes Waterloo Road Role After Coronation Street Snub

Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has revealed she is seeking a role on BBC's Waterloo Road after ITV bosses failed to invite her back as Rosie Webster. The 35-year-old actress, who played the character for nearly two decades, told the Daily Star she would love to return to the cobbles but has not been asked.

Flanagan, who recently finished a five-month theatre run, said she is now job hunting and hopes to focus on acting. She expressed interest in joining the school drama, stating she would be well-suited to play a mother or teacher.

The mother of three also spoke about downsizing after her ex-partner Scott Sinclair sold their eight-bedroom Bolton home. The property, initially listed at £1.5 million, sold for £995,000, with Flanagan admitting she is sad to leave but finding the upkeep challenging.
