Victoria Rose, the ex-wife of rugby star Danny Cipriani, has lashed out after bailiffs visited her home and clamped her car over debts incurred by her former husband. The 38-year-old athlete’s ex-wife, who separated from him in 2023 after two years of marriage, shared a scathing statement on Instagram claiming she was forced to pay the debt to retrieve her vehicle.
In her post, Rose said she woke to find bailiffs at her door and her car clamped. She accused Cipriani, currently in Los Angeles with on-off girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord, of being “untouchable” abroad while she dealt with the consequences. “I had to pay his debt today just to get my car unclamped,” she wrote, adding that the debt was in his name but had been transferred to her address.
Rose also warned she would initiate legal proceedings against Cipriani, stating she would contact the embassy. “If you can’t face your debts here, you don’t deserve the privilege of pretending to be squeaky clean somewhere else,” she said directly to him. She alleged he had ignored all correspondence regarding the debt.
Earlier this month, Rose sold Cipriani’s England rugby shirts and other designer items online after he declined to collect them. She claimed she had stored his memorabilia for years and offered to return it, but he refused. The couple’s split reportedly came without warning in 2023, with Rose stating she had no idea why he left.
