Brooke Shields and her lookalike daughter Rowan Henchy once again turned heads as they were trailed by cameras in New York City on Wednesday. The 60-year-old Blue Lagoon star looked stylish in a black leather dress that showcased her fit figure, paired with sleek black mules. Rowan, 22, an aspiring journalist, matched her mother in a black studded maxi dress and black heels.
The duo appeared to be filming a scene for Rowan's new reality show Next Gen NYC. The Bravo series follows a group of celebrity offspring—often called 'nepo babies'—as they navigate adulthood and careers in New York City. Rowan reportedly joined the show's second season in October 2025, with production expected to continue through spring.
Next Gen NYC also stars Riley Burress (daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss), Gia Giudice (daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice), Brooks Marks (son of Real Housewife of Salt Lake City's Meredith Marks), Ariana Bierman (daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kim Zolciak), and Ava Dash (daughter of Damon Dash), among others.
Shields has been unwavering in her support for Rowan's career aspirations. In June 2024, she told E! News: 'She wants to go into broadcast journalism and news. She's been at different outlets. She's done their carpet stuff.' Shields, who also has daughter Grier, 20, with husband Chris Henchy, added: 'Everyone tells me how much they love her. She's so appealing as a person. I'm her mother, but people love her, and they tell me all the time.'
Her advice to Rowan: 'Never give up. Just keep going. She's going to be just fine.'
Last month, Rowan stirred attention on TikTok by referencing her mother's brief fling with John F. Kennedy Jr. In a video lip-syncing to Taylor Swift and Charli XCX's performance of 'Boom Clap,' text overlaid read: 'I wonder if JFK Jr was a good kisser.'
In 2023, Shields described JFK Jr as 'one of the best kissers' on The Howard Stern Show. She recalled being 'madly in love with him' since childhood, and they met during a ski trip to Aspen. After a date, he kissed her, and she said: 'It was the best kiss I've ever had in my life. The lips are beautiful, the face is amazing, and he was down to earth and funny.' However, she held back from sleeping with him, fearing she would be hurt. The next day, he ignored her on the slopes, revealing his true colors.
