Story Overview
First published in 2020, the novel centres on Luc O'Donnell, the son of two former 1980s rock stars whose chaotic public image keeps him under constant scrutiny. Working a low-profile job for a dung beetle charity, Luc tries to stay out of the tabloids until a scandal forces him back into the spotlight, threatening his fragile reputation.
To repair his image, Luc agrees to a fake relationship with Oliver Blackwood, a composed and respected barrister who is his complete opposite. What begins as a publicity arrangement quickly becomes complicated as they face media pressure and unexpected emotional stakes.
