Meanwhile, the beloved British character Paddington Bear scooped multiple awards for the musical Paddington, including Best New Musical, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor and Actress.

Other standout performances recognised by the judges included Rosamund Pike in Inter Alia and Paapa Essiedu in All My Sons. The Bridge Theatre revival of Into the Woods also earned accolades for its lighting design and won Best Revival.
