Aniston, who starred in the 2005 film 'Derailed' co-distributed by The Weinstein Company, filed court documents claiming she is still owed money by the studio. Her filing states that she must be given a full opportunity to examine the company's books to reconcile revenues and expenses related to the film.
The actress 'strongly believes' that the company's claims of what she is owed are incorrect, and that it has not provided accurate accounting reports since 2016. She joins other stars such as Julia Roberts, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Meryl Streep in fighting the sale to ensure they receive correct payments.
