Adam Thomas Takes Subtle Jab at I'm A Celebrity Final Chaos with Son's Trophies
Adam Thomas Digs at I'm A Celeb Final Chaos with Son's Win

Adam Thomas has taken a subtle swipe at the chaotic I'm A Celebrity... South Africa final that aired last week. The 37-year-old actor took to Instagram on Monday to share a series of photographs featuring his 11-year-old son Teddy, celebrating his success at a dance competition alongside several trophies.

In his post, Thomas wrote: 'My boy came home this weekend with four trophies from his dance comps!! But honestly, it wasn't even about the trophies… it was his face. Just pure happiness, proper proud of himself. That's what winning should feel like, super proud of the boy.'

He added: 'One thing I've learnt though is as you get older you start to realise, it's not about trophies or crowns, none of that really matters. I already won a long time ago. Everything I need is right here.'

The Emmerdale star, who was crowned winner of the second series of the I'm A Celebrity spin-off show, found himself at the centre of considerable drama during the live episode on Friday, April 24. The post comes after his victory felt less triumphant than anticipated due to the on-air controversy.

During the live final, the show descended into chaos when Jimmy Bullard launched a furious rant at hosts Ant and Dec, accusing them of editing out clips from his trial with Adam in which the soap star allegedly called him a derogatory term after Bullard decided to quit the challenge. Additionally, David Haye exploded at Adam following their ongoing 'bullying' scandal.

After Thomas's latest Instagram post, many of his followers rushed to the comments section to express support. His I'm A Celebrity co-star Scarlett Moffatt commented: 'Massive well done teddy.' Big Brother's Kerry Riches added: 'Super Star!' Another fan wrote: 'A champ raising a champ.' Others said: 'Love you two champions,' 'Well done Teddy! And well done Adam what a great Dad!' and 'Winner like his Dad.'

The drama also drew reactions from other celebrities. Maya Jama, the Love Island presenter, retweeted a chaotic clip of the final and said: 'Didn't watch but from this clip alone... This is why I love live TV so much & hosting the aftersun show because barely any channels do it anymore out of fear of what can go wrong but people want real reactions and an edited show will never compete to the live experience! Ant and Dec I love you forever also x.'

During the final, Ant and Dec gave Jimmy Bullard the opportunity to speak. Bullard claimed that Adam had used abusive language and that the hosts had failed to show footage of the incident. Ant argued that the footage was unbroadcastable and that he did not perceive the behaviour as intimidating. Adam apologised, saying: 'I take full responsibility for my actions and yes emotions were definitely running high in that moment. I have nothing but love for Jimmy in that moment. I have apologised to Jimmy on numerous occasions and I do take everything that he is saying into account and the only thing I can do is apologise.'

David Haye interjected, accusing the show of editing to make Adam appear as the victim. Sinitta also stormed off stage, yelling that the behaviour was aggressive and abusive. The hosts eventually wrapped up the discussion, agreeing to disagree.

The I'm A Celebrity All-Stars 2026 lineup includes Gemma Collins, Ashley Roberts, Sir Mo Farah, David Haye, Scarlett Moffatt, Seann Walsh, Sinitta, Jimmy Bullard, Adam Thomas, Harry Redknapp, Craig Charles, and Beverley Callard.
