Adam DiMarco, best known for his role in The White Lotus season 2, has been cast in a new Netflix horror series titled Something Very Bad is Going to Happen. The series is created by Haley Z Boston and executive produced by the Duffer Brothers, the creators of Stranger Things.
DiMarco will star alongside Camila Morrone, known for Daisy Jones and the Six. The duo will play a couple planning to marry in a week, but as the wedding day approaches, something very bad occurs. Weronika Tofilska, who worked on Baby Reindeer, will direct at least four episodes.
DiMarco played Albie in The White Lotus season 2, a young man whose holiday romance with Portia ended when she pursued another man. He later had a fling with sex worker Lucia, who tricked him into giving her a large sum of money.
The upcoming third season of The White Lotus is set in Thailand and will premiere on February 17, 2025, on Sky Atlantic, Sky Go, and NOW in the UK. The cast includes Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Michelle Monaghan, Walton Goggins, and Aimee Lou Wood. Natasha Rothwell reprises her role as Belinda from season one.
