Aaron Rodgers has revealed that he and his wife, Brittani, were forced to move out of their California beach home due to a group of stalkers. The 42-year-old NFL star described the situation as a “bizarre obsession” during Wednesday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show.
Rodgers explained that the stalking had been ongoing for about a year and a half, extending beyond his home to his local coffee shop and gym. He also claimed that paparazzi flew drones over his house and that there was a bounty on obtaining a photograph of his wife.
“I understand the attention that comes with somebody that’s accomplished what I’ve accomplished, so in no way am I making this a ‘woe is me,’” Rodgers said. “But when it comes to your personal safety, it’s not just me, it’s me and her, and it’s really f***ing bizarre.”
The quarterback noted that his wife, whom he met in 2017, has no desire to be in the public eye, and he wants to protect her from media attention. He also alluded to past relationships with individuals who encouraged a more public lifestyle, including leaking his whereabouts to paparazzi.
Rodgers has been estranged from his family for over a decade, citing “deep-rooted” issues. He confirmed his marriage to Brittani in June 2025 after reporters spotted a ring on his finger, but has kept most details private.
