Teacher and Sister of Baywatch Star Faces Grooming Allegations Involving Student

A female teacher, who is also the older sister of millionaire influencer and Baywatch TV star Noah Beck, has been formally accused of grooming a male student at her high school while referring to herself as his 'sugar momma', according to detailed police reports. Haley Beck, aged 27, allegedly engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a student at Centennial High School in Peoria, Arizona, over several months, with the misconduct beginning in December 2024 before the student turned 18.

Allegations of Inappropriate Conduct and Gifts

Investigators revealed that Beck, who was hired by the school in 2020, bought the student gifts, food, drugs, and alcohol, paid him more than $600, and provided him with access to her car. The police report, spanning nearly 200 pages, indicates that she also helped improve his grades and attendance records while giving him special treatment in her psychology and sociology classes. Detectives stated that the minor was harassed during his sophomore and junior years while enrolled in her courses.

In text messages exchanged over nearly six weeks, Beck and the student sent each other more than 4,000 messages discussing illegal and sexual activities. Beck reportedly wrote in one message that 'it felt like straight prostitution' and called herself the boy's 'sugar momma'. Another note found during a search of her apartment read, 'For this "relationship" being extremely wrong, I feel like we have really made the most out of it,' adding, 'there is truly no other student (I know, so wrong) that I’d want to do all this with.'

Connection to Another Educator and Investigation Details

During the same period, another educator at the school, Angela Burlaka, a married 47-year-old, recorded naked videos of herself that were discovered on the student's phone. The victim's grandmother found these disturbing videos in July and alerted the police, sparking the investigation. Burlaka was heard saying the student's name in the clips, according to documents.

Sexual misconduct claims involving Haley Beck emerged after the probe began, with the victim's mother informing police that she was aware her son was 'having sex with a teacher named "Haley Beck"'. However, the teenager and his family initially hesitated to cooperate with detectives, fearing it might impact his college athletic scholarships.

School Response and Legal Proceedings

Centennial High School Principal Scott Hollabaugh reported receiving 'multiple complaints from students and staff' about Beck and provided her name to police after the investigation into Burlaka started. Following a review, the Peoria Unified School District unanimously voted to fire Haley Beck during a governing board meeting on March 26. She has until April 8 to request a hearing to contest her termination.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the Peoria Unified School District emphasized that all allegations involving student safety are taken extremely seriously, but noted that initial information did not meet the legal threshold for reasonable suspicion of abuse. The district responded in accordance with policy and law, though pending litigation limits further details.

After the probe began, Burlaka voluntarily surrendered her Arizona teaching certificates, while Beck did not. Police have recommended that the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office charge Beck with inducing prostitution and Burlaka with aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation. Formal charges have not yet been filed, as the investigation was re-submitted for further review in February.

Public Outcry and Legal Defense

At a recent public meeting, a mother spoke out, calling Beck a 'pedophile' and expressing relief that such individuals are being held accountable. Meanwhile, Beck's legal team, led by lawyer Matthew Long, issued a statement asserting her innocence and respect for the criminal justice process. 'Ms. Beck respects the criminal justice process and looks forward to the conclusion of the investigation, which will reveal she committed no crimes,' Long said, adding confidence that a full review will confirm her innocence.
