Prime Minister Keir Starmer opened a new government base in Manchester, called No 10 North, intended to signal a shift away from what he said had been decades of economic decision-making centred in London.
Temporary Location and Future Plans
Heron House is temporarily accommodating No 10 North while a brownfield site just outside the city is being developed where it is expected to relocate permanently.
