A flight attendant has shared the top five 'basic' habits she 'absolutely loves' to see passengers doing while flying. In a TikTok video, she listed behaviours that earn instant respect and make her day.
The five habits include acknowledging the crew, especially in the lavatory, and maintaining basic hygiene. She emphasised that 'kindness, awareness, and basic hygiene' are the keys to elite passenger status.
Many viewers agreed, with one commenting that it's sad so many people are 'selfish, rude and ignorant'. Another said it 'blows my mind' that passengers don't thank the crew when leaving the flight.
However, one habit sparked debate: taking shoes off. Some argued it's acceptable on long flights as long as feet aren't bare and shoes are put back on when leaving the seat. Others insisted shoes should stay on.
The flight attendant concluded that simple acts of respect and gratitude make a big difference to cabin crew.
